New: MCS-150 due date calculator

About MyDotCheck

We help trucking companies see their DOT compliance status before it becomes a fine or an out-of-service order.

What we do

MyDotCheck gives every USDOT number a free compliance page. It shows whether the number is active, when the MCS-150 biennial update is due, whether operating authority is active, the safety rating, and how the carrier's roadside out-of-service rates compare with the national average. Owners can turn on free email alerts, owner-operators can have us handle routine filings, and fleets with 20 or more drivers can join our compliance pilot for driver qualification files, drug and alcohol program tracking and audit preparation.

Where the data comes from

Every carrier page is built from public records published by the U.S. Department of Transportation: the FMCSA Motor Carrier Census and the FMCSA Vehicle Inspection File on data.transportation.gov. Both are refreshed daily, so our pages can lag official FMCSA systems by a day or more. We intentionally do not display carrier phone numbers or email addresses. Fee tables come from the official UCR Plan, and deadline rules come from FMCSA regulations such as 49 CFR 390.19.

Independent

MyDotCheck is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of the U.S. Department of Transportation or FMCSA. Data comes from public FMCSA datasets and may lag official records by a day or more. Government filings can be made directly with FMCSA at no charge. We earn money only from optional services, never from selling carrier data or contact details.

For developers and AI agents

The same checks are available as a free, read-only API and MCP server. See the developer guide.
